Reclaiming African Spirituality with OshunKemi

This week’s episode is a very special one, as Lane and Jackie got to chat with Jackie’s friend OshunKemi (she/her), a recent initiate into the Ifa spiritual tradition. Jackie and OshunKemi connected as colleagues through their work as historians and museum practitioners, and have become friends since. We talked to OshunKemi about uncovering her connections to African spirituality in her own family history, her hoodoo and tarot practices, the Orishas, and how becoming an Ifa aborisha has had a transformative and empowering impact on her life.
